Aaron Pedersen is great as the troubled detective investigating his first case. Director Ivan Sen creates a tense atmosphere that is successfully sustained throughout the movie. And Sen also highlights the vastness and isolation of the Outback setting. There are however some elements of the storyline that are not properly resolved leaving the viewer somewhat frustrated.
