Wallflower tells the story of a freshman trying to fit in. The movie succeeds due to great casting and directing. The story line was engaging through out the flick yet it could have included more drama. Whole cast pull out good performances but especially so does Watson who is a perfect fit for her character. The finished package feels like a realistic portrayal of teenage life, unlike many other "teen films". It is remarkably easy to relate with the characters that are well and thoroughly thought out. The plot manages to grab until the end of the run time and doesn't fall flat along the journey. I was hoping for more extravagant cinematography since this at times felt run of the mill. Nevertheless a surprisingly good movie that shines due to cast chemistry.
