After the somewhat novel approach in the beginning of the film where you see and feel what the life of a killer on a happy murderous jaunt across the hillside would be like, it then leaves you only waiting on the next kill. Some are pretty good I will say but it can't truly save the movie.
The First Person camera approach was somewhat done over 3 decades ago with the much better "Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer", albeit, that followed the everyday life of a serial killer and "In a Violent Nature" follows a masked hulking slasher in the Jason vein, hacking his way through the woods.
Decent first 15 minutes with the First Person view but that wore thin and had a couple of pretty unique and memorable kills that kept it from being totally forgettable.

My Grade- 1 1/2 Joints
