Well, I didn't expect this movie to be good. I was wrong. It was definitely a good movie. There was A LOT of action which at some points made for some headache moments (that could very well be due to IMAX) and some real cheesy stuff going on between Sam and Makayla that was just a little stomach turning. However, I liked how they didn't really let relationship get in the way of the action-packed adventure. Also, this movie has a lot more humor than the first one. I definitely spent a good amount of time laughing. The mother was just ridiculous. I loved it. Aside from that, this will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat. It had the quite predictable "this isn't over" ending. I can't imagine what more they can do with this movie. There's only so much fighting metal one can take. But I would definitely recommend this to anyone. It had all of the ingredients of a fun and entertaining movie.
