Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs is engaging

Danny Boyle returns to make an engrossing biopic about Steve Jobs. Portrayed by Michael Fassbender, we see what kind of a man Steve Jobs was, and how much of a jerk he was. Michael Fassbender arguably gives the best performance of the year so far, as he transforms into this business man that tries his best to create a great computer. On topic, the rest of the cast was great too, each being invested in their roles, and with a great screenwriter like Andy Sorkin to boot. Because of these reasons, Steve Jobs is a very fascinating and enjoyable movie. It know when to be funny, and it knows when to be intense and serious. And it is intense! The movie is also separated into 3 parts of Steve Jobs' life, and I will say the last part is the least engaging, as it shows that it's basically following a step-by-step setting of the other 2 parts. Plus, there are some arguments and flashbacks in the movie that can be very hard to follow because they move so fast. However, with all that being said, Steve Jobs is intense, funny, fascinating, and certainly should make a case for best picture from the Oscars.
