There are two types of thought when it comes to the Avengers movies. There are those who absolutely love the franchise that will keep on watching new installments and there are those who are getting a little bit tired of it. Unfortunately, I fit into the latter category. The story is about the Avengers trying to stop of Ultron, who was created by Tony Stark, from destroying the planet with a meteor he created. I will give the movie this that it does have some really entertaining action scenes, our favorite characters are still who they are, and it does have a good sense of humor. It is entertaining at times, but I feel that there's something about it that's a little bit stale. The plot and the stakes that were created in this movie is almost similar to the first one and it doesn't really bring anything new to the table outside of new characters. I also feel that there are quite of few plot points from the previous movies that's been carried over to this one that feel a little bit unnecessary. I think the villain himself, Ultron, was a little bit disappointing because I feel that he's a little bit too goofy and not as menacing, but I think that's from my point of view. Overall, Age of Ultron is a movie that while I did enjoy watching it, I feel like that the franchise, as a whole, couldn't bring anything new to the table. If you like the Avengers movies, you'll definitely like this one. For me, however, I just want something a little bit more fresh.
