A Bond Film That Kind of Underwhelms

The fourth movie of the Daniel Craig movies, Specter is about, who else, James Bond. With this story, we have James Bond who is trying to find a man that's been running a secret organization, played by Christoph Waltz. In order to catch this man, he has to travel to tons of various places and do some action stuff as well with all the other things we expected our agent to do. Now, I really like the Daniel Craig films. I loved Casino Royale, I thought Quantum of Solace was just mediocre, and Skyfall was a good film. With Specter, if I were to do a power ranking of these movies, I would put it in my 3rd spot. What I really like about this film is that some of the action is really cool. They go through some really unique action sequences and they can be really entertaining. There is quite a few intense moments as well as some good humor in between. The characters that we like are still here and they can be entertaining. However, there are equally as many things that I wasn't a big fan of. First of all, while there are some action scenes that are really good, there are also some that just seems to drag a little bit more than I would like it to. While there are scenes that works really well, there are some that felt that it's only there to drag the run time. The movie is about 2 and a half hours long and I feel that they could've easily cut at least 30 minutes off of it. Plus, I didn't really buy that much into the romance. Overall, this is a decent film in the James Bond franchise. It didn't really do a whole lot, but I didn't regret watching. If you like the James Bond films, you would definitely like this one. For me, I could do a little bit more than the movie has to offer.
