I’m all about a female driven character study, especially if it’s Imogen Poots (thought she was amazing in SFTW). However, this movie was a bit “meh.” Imogen was good though - really the only reason why I finished it was because of her. It was that “parent dies/have to return home for funeral” movie. Seen it a lot times before. Not a lot new here, but it was nice to see a female leading this kind of story. The emotional contradictions within Imogen’s character were pretty relatable imo. Just wish the story as a whole had something new to offer.
