A modern witch hunt

This is one of those films that could have been something totally different than what it actually ended up being. Rather than be an angry attack on victims of who lie, it divided deep into how we as humans can allow are rage and group think to consume. Through the use of tense scenes of violence and anger, the director masterfully paints this picture of a modern masterpiece witch hunt. I really also enjoyed how they used the mother to try and convince her daughter that she was convincing herself she was lying. The honestly in this film really felt authentic. Also the highlight of the film comes when the friend finally realizes that it was all a lie and that we almost lost his friend because of something that wasn’t true. It’s such a quiet moment of contemplation for him.
