This Frank Borzage film wasn't my favorite. It was a little too communist, oh hey comrade, yeah hey comrade. Well, I like movies that explore different points of view, like Il Postino/The Postman made communism seem necessary in some circumstances. However, this film's portrayal was just too bland and narrow.
