A really bad remake of Ernst Lubitsch's Shop Around the Corner. Judy Garland's singing numbers are decent, but mainly a little too silly. Van Johnson isn't quite a good leading man in this, and Robert Z. Leonard isn't quite as competent as Lubitsch.
