My expectations were that Jessica Biel would be out of place in a period comedy piece and I was right. Colin Firth is his good old self and Kristin Scott Thomas plays the nagging wife beautifully. Ben Barnes strangely breaks out into song in so many places - I was like, enough already! While the supporting cast was decent, there were a few strange animal gags that felt overdrawn. It was watchable and passed the Friday night away, but other than that, I am not able to rave about it.
