This film seems like a direct homage to The 400 Blows, yet it has differences. It follows a boy who's in foster care. He's been with a family for awhile, but after an act of cruelty, the parents are forced to give up their pseudo-son. Finally, he finds a loving couple who won't give him up no matter what. But the law decides he's too dangerous after he pulls the ultimate prank. Pialat is very underrated. Give this film a chance.
