I finally saw this film. While I greatly prefer City Lights, this film has its merits. Unfortunately, I saw this film on YouTube. What was worse than the quality, was that years later, Chaplin added narration to this film. When Charlie opens a door, Charlie says "and he opens a door". Basically, it ruins the film. I hope to see this film one day without narration.
