Unfortunately, a disappointment. I felt that it was a nothing movie. The clips that show him going back and forth in time didn't really impress me. I wasn't drawn into the love story and I didn't feel for the characters. It is so strange that some of Resnais most acclaimed work I can't feel for at all. It wasn't as perfectly executed as Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. That may not be Resnais' fault, but I wanted something a little more coherent.
