This movie is funny. Almost like it was a parody of the '80s made in the year 2000. Nope. It was made right in the '80s, directed by Curtis Hanson. This movie calls to mind the greatness of L.A. Confidential or In Her Shoes, even though it doesn't quite reach that level.
Not to be missed, especially if you are a fan of Isabelle Huppert.
