I saw this movie because of the big name draw of Carole Bouquet. Unfortunately, she is hardly in the movie. But it is about boys in an orphanage. Some of them have parents, but most are orphaned. The director describes this movie as the hardcore version of "The Chorus". While yes, it was more "hardcore" (it depicted a sadder way of life for these boys), it didn't have as much charm as "The Chorus" , a movie that I much prefer.
