Incredibly overrated movie with a great Tom Hanks and Zemeckis winning the hearts of mainstream, blind audiences. It is a slightly moving moral tale but what true significance does this hold today? I'd say none, so let's just take it for what it is: a semi-racist and idealistic movie that may provide a few smiles.
