Avengers: Infinity War brings back Joe and Anthony Russo to direct the darkest, most dangerous and -- for lack of a better word -- most grown up chapter in the MCU. The stakes feel real this time around. This may be the first time in an MCU film that I felt nervous for the fate of these heroes, as the film establishes a dangerous playground right from the get-go.
As dark as Infinity War gets, it still has the usual delights and fun character moments you would expect from an Avengers film. The action is great and directed with vision and energy, the villainous Thanos is interesting and menacing, and the "I don't feel so good" ending will leave you breathless.
