It doesn't have the potency or neo-noir style of Schrader's previous thrillers that it bears resemblance to, but the point of "The Walker" isn't to be a stylish surprise box of twists. But a wade through the heinous underside of Washington D.C. Still, that doesn't fully make up for its tediousness and underwhelming conclusion.
