"Anora" is a romantic comedy that takes a sledgehammer to everything we are accustomed to in romantic comedies. Yes, it's shiny and very funny and at times a little sweet. But there's deep and honest realizations that come through it all when looked at via Sean Baker's unvarnished lens, adding some tragic yet refreshing grit to the familiar glitter.
