I've been trying to come up with the best word to describe "Warfare," and I think that word is "necessary." This cut down to the bone seige thriller is one of the most necessary viewing experiences of the year, packed with tension-fueled moments where everything can go haywire in an instant and grizzly images that are more shocking than any torture-porn gore fest could muster. In a way, this is as much a horror film as it is a war movie.
