i would call this movie a "family tragedy horror drama" movie. it reminded me of The Omen, The Exorcist, or Carrie. I don't usually like movies with satanic undertones or movies where I am scared to be alone after watching. This movie was all of that, plus full of sheer terror, complete helplessness, and sorrow. The family dynamics were particularly disturbing. Annie, the mother, seemed to want to spend more time with her art than with her family, and i don't understand why any mother would allow her older son to take his younger sister to a senior party. The way Peter dealt with the death and beheading of his sister was disturbing.The character development was interesting to watch as Annie became more extroverted as the movie went on, while Peter became more introverted. I was scared at points that Annie would break down and kill her own son. I felt drawn into a dark place wile watching this movie.
