I gave up on this with the "Uncle Jack and the Elephant" joke. If the Guru Pitka character had been a minor character in a much better film I probably would have laughed at it but to stretch a one line joke into a feature length film just doesn't work. The Austin Powers films are homages to a genre of films our generation grew up watching, this is just a sad excuse for Meyers to get another paycheck.
And why, in the name of God, is Ben Kinglsey is this movie? What debt did he have to pay off? Who did he owe a favor to? Those can be the only reasons why I can imagine him being in this waste of a movie.
