Wicked confusing, but really good

Donnie Darko is just about as strange as it gets, but at the same time it's as good as it gets. This movie I have seen about 29 times, and I still pick up on more every time I watch it. It's really the kind of movie where you have to pay attention throughout to truely get what it's even about. It would be impossible for me to describe the entire movie without having this reveiw be 30 pages long, so I'll just describe the main plot:
The movie is about a 17 year old schizofernic kid named Donnie who sees a six foot tall bunny rabbit who tells him the world will end on the morning of October 31. Completely normal, right? The rabbit, named Frank (?) makes Donnie do such things as flooding his school and burning down Patrick Swayze's house or else the world will end. Throughout the entire movie he gravitates between doing that, spending time with his reeaally hot girlfriend, and talking with his friends about how Smurfs can't have sex. Pretty awesome, I know. I won't give away the ending, because, well....you'll just have to watch the movie, you lazy bastards, don't ask me what happens!
The acting is superb. Jake Gyllenhaal does a great job playing a Schizophernic teen. He also does a great job going from being normal, to being creepy, often doing this in the same scene. Maggie Gyllenhaal is great, and I'm not just saying that because she has nice tits. Well, might have something to do with that, but she IS really good n this.
The director, Richard Kelly, does a great job, though I have yet to see his other movies. He left me a good impression with this one, though.
The soundtrack is great. We have not only Tears For Fears doing Head Over Heels in this one, but we also have Gary Jules doing a great cover of another great Tears For Fears song, Mad World.
Basically, if you like movies, you should watch this before you die. If you don't, then you're a Mormon.
