I love this movie. It's funny, it's smart, and in a way is kind of an accurate portrayal of washed up former child actors and actresses. Then again, what else can you expect from a David Spade movie? In a way, I really think the person they're aking fun of in this is Corey Haim, who, as anyone who was alive in the '80's knows, was a popular child star (Lost Boys forever!) who's now burnt out and hasn't been in an A movie since the 1990's. Coincidently, Haim has a cameo appearance as himslef in this.
What I really love about this movie is the cameos from real former child stars, like Corey Feldman, Corey Haim, Gary Coleman, Dustin Diamond, Tony Dow, and numerouse others. So, if you love 80's child stars, watch this movie, because you will see a hell of alot!
