I had heard about this movie from one of my friends who was a fan of the show, but I didn't think that I would like it because I had never seen Firefly before it got (unceremoniously) canceled. In short, I absolutely loved this movie. Everything from the character's interactions with each other (especially between Mal and Jane), the aesthetics, the overall feel of the movie, the dialogue (Buffyspeak) was excellent. A straightforward plot with just enough twists (and heartbreak) to keep even the most staunch sci-fi fan enthralled. This movie made me call my friend just to borrow his Firefly collection so I could see more of these characters. Awesome sci-fi in it's simplest form. I'd like to thank all the "Brownshirts" for making this movie happen. :P
