The Fighting Temptations is just another one of those "I need money, so I'll con my hometown into helping me get some" type of movies. The film benefits from Cuba Gooding Jr's good performance, Beyonce Knowles beautiful singing voice and funny one-liners from the supporting characters(mostly Mike Epps). Although, The film is predictable and overlong, making it bad. Singer Montell Jordan has the films funniest scenes.
