Better than the Sequal

In the third movie of this series, Transformers: Dark of the Moon was quite a bit better than the second movie, but still lacked some of the things that made the first one pretty good. The story was much improved, the premise tied in well with manipulating actual history, and made the movie very interesting. With Rosie Huntington-Whiteley replacing Megan Fox I wondered how the two would compare. Rosie did quite well, in fact better, than Fox. Her acting was actually really good, and nothing was lost in terms of a hot side-kick girl for Shia. The overall series still seems to rely a little bit too much on shaky camera action scenes, CGI, and non-stop action, but you also go into these blockbuster, high budget films, with that expected. It is definitely a movie that is worth seeing, but isn't the best movie of the year by any means.
