Pretty much a classic film. Great performances, a great script, and a fine example of "how they used to do it." If there's one drawback it's that the film does run a little long, which can be attributed to the conversations that sometimes last too long. However, it's not enough to bring one of the most Oscar-nominated films of all time down. Bette Davis has many good roles to her name, but this is probably her best.
