Not bad

A movie that starts out pretty strong and eventually dissolves into a farce, which isn't bad, but I kind of liked the more realistic story that had already been established. At first I was a little afraid this was going to be a Hitch knock-off, but the strong performance of Steve Carrell helps avoid that. I can't stand Ryan Gosling, and that continues with this film as well. For awhile I wondered why Emma Stone is even in the movie as her character for the first half has nothing to do really with the others, but she eventually does have a purpose when the movie takes it's farcical turn. An okay movie, as long as you can accept where things go halfway through.
