Motion capture usually creeps me out, this didn't

A solid animated/motion capture film that succeeds for many reasons: the story, Spielberg's direction, John Williams' score, and the animation. I was not familiar with Tintin's stories before this, as such I was a little lost in the beginning as the film doesn't do a whole lot to establish who Tintin is. However, it isn't long before you're up to speed and can enjoy this adventure.
