I come on here and read the reivews for The Happening and I just have to laugh. For some reason people hold Shyamalan to these unmeetable standards with his films. It seems the reviews on here are more interested in making fun of Shyamalan than actually reviewing the film.
It's not great, but it's still pretty entertaining. For most of the film I had a really tense feeling and didn't know what was going to happen. Sure, the dialogue is a little clunky at times but it doesn't get in the way.
Seriously people, one star? It's not that bad, and you know it.
