It blows my mind how creative Pixar can be and how they're able to sell a movie. To make a film like this succeed, in which there is little dialogue and human interaction, is incredible. It's the story of a little robot with human emotions, longing for friendship, whose hopes are answered with the arrival of Eve, another robot who Wall-E breaks through with and establishes an emotional connection. There's some subtle societal messages too, such as the future of our planet and us as human beings.
However, the true magic of this film is how you connect with these characters by relying on visuals, music, and emotion. Pixar is always going to make great films; I've never been disappointed. However, Wall-E is a true masterpiece.
