I’m going to say I’m a bit disappointed with the new film. But should I be? We all know George Lucas is into making movies for kids now days (See the new Star Wars films). So when I saw the scene where Mud gets thrown into the air and grabs a vine and starts swinging around with monkeys, I knew we were onto something bad. Then what’s next? Ants that can track you down and pick you up and drag you in a whole? Then to finish it off, Indian Jones goes Sci-Fi! Now, with that said, if this wasn’t an Indiana Jones movie I could live with it. I would have thought it was a decent movie. When I got home I put in Raiders of the Lost Ark and remembered how great it still is. Everything seems a bit more believable, and a bit darker. So, just like the Star Wars 4 through 6, you can’t beat the originals.
