Review - Annie Hall (1977)

Alvy Singer (Woody Allen) was your average neurotic New York comic before he met Annie Hall (Diane Keaton). Their relationship together is seen in the Best Picture winning film, “Annie Hall.”
Allen is an interesting director. If you look at his work one way, it’s absolutely horrible, but if you look at it another, it’s genius. “Annie Hall” is no exception, as I personally have seen it both way.
This film is almost like watching a stage play, but it’s done in a way that could only work on film. While watching, you feel like you’re right there in their relationship with them, watching it unfold. It’s a very interesting experience.
I’ve never been a huge fan of Allen’s work and yet every time I see something he’s done, I love it. I think it’s just an old grudge from “Antz.”
