Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) was a down-on-his-luck small time boxer when he was found by the champ Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers). Now he has a chance to go the distance in “Rocky.”

It seems that every once in a while I finally find a movie I love in a genre I hate. I am not a fan of sports movies, but this is one that I can say I really enjoyed. Stallone’s story is really inspiring and his acting is great. I don’t know what exactly it is about this movie, but I feel like I could watch it over and over and never get tired of it.

There’s honestly nothing I can complain about with this movie. Everything about it is perfectly done just as it should be done. I have a feeling Stallone had more to do with it than just writing and directing because it has the quality of a movie he directed. I just hope at this point that the rest of the movies don’t end up like the “Rambo” series.

I think “Rocky” is one movie that everybody needs to see; especially when they feel like their life isn’t worth anything. It’s really inspiring and hopefully give you that boost of confidence you need to be happy in life.
