“Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen” PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi action, violence, some crude and sexual material, and brief drug ,material Starring Shia LeBouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, John Tuturo
Directed by Michael Bay
Welcome to desensitized America—where all the woman are partially clothed, info is now spoon-fed to us by college-aged conspiracy business tycoons and magic brownie munching baby booty-babbling, profanity spitting mothers are the new comic relief
Earth, birthplace of humans both compassionate and violent...and sex craved, Megan Fox Hungary movie-goers who simply can’t get enough of this, as Vince Vaughn would put it, “Beautiful Baby brunette” sprawled out over a bike in a tight tank and underwear resembling jean shorts.
As with most sequels...you have more—more autobots, bigger decepticons, louder explosions “And more sexual references than you can shake a stick at” (G-Joe)
I agree. I was appalled—I’m sitting there throughout the movie thinking..there’s no way I’m taking my 12 year old son to see this—no matter how many Black Forrest Gummy Bears he tries to bribe me with—it ain’t happenin
Sam Witwicky (Shia LeBouf) a normal kid wannabe with abnormal problems is all grown up and off to college leaving behind his fam, and friends, but plans for higher learning take a different direction when familiar objects bring back the past and some familiar faces. The US Government is hot on the trail of the autobots believing they were the ones who drew the decepticons back to earth while Sam with his new found and strange ability, reunites with Optimus Prime and a few of the Transformer gang in effort to recover what was lost in what will be an epic battle in effort to save all mankind.
I guess the one redeeming quality in this movie is the Father-Like guardianship between Sam, and the transformers: Optimus Prime, and Bumble Bee. Their willingness to sacrifice their livelihood in the battle against the decepticons for the safety of mankind is a bit of a tearjerker.
Aside from that, Megan doesn’t have to dress provocative in order to be beautiful. A movie shouldn’t have to use sexy clothes, or the lack of clothing in order to gain our interest or captivate an audience. Hollywood can do better than this for a summer blockbuster, and we deserve better...we simply neglect to demand it...but that’s just my humble opinion.
