Bourne to be Wild

This is pretty much the action film of the year. You've got your car chases, your shootouts, your knock-down, drag out fight scenes and, best of all, you've got a plot that managed to be both smart and interesting.
Jason Bourne is still on the trail of his identity, and for each step he comes closer to finding the truth, he's one step closer to being wiped out by the people who don't want him to knowing it. The action is seamless and intense. Wait for the one-on-one fight between Bourne and an assassin in a cramped room in Morocco - it's possibly the best fight scene in all the Bourne films and one of the best overall put on film.
Paul Greengrass likes that hand-held camera approach. It still makes it hard to follow the action at times, but I've come around to the fact that it perfectly accentuates the Bourne films. The globe-trotting doesn't stop - from Moscow to London to Paris to Morocco to New York - no matter where he's at, Bourne manages to evade the authorities, though not everyone can be so lucky.
Julila Stiles, who has always been in the background, gets her due and the best non-action scenes are between her and Matt Damon. Even though this is supposed to be the last Bourne film, if they do a fourth, I expect a lot more from those two. The villains, once again, are in the CIA, trying to cover their own butts along with the truth. The assassins may get to have all the fight scenes, but in terms of pure evil they've got nothing on their corrupt bosses.
In the end, this is the perfect way to end the summer movie season, an action film that keeps you on the edge of your seat, but also delivers a well-plotted story that rounds out the trilogy, but leaves it open for more.
