As a piece of cinema, this is a mess, however, as a Troma film, this is a near masterpiece. Plus, that baby is the creepiest one to come along since Eraserhead. The acting is pretty terrible and the story throws in every Vietnam cliche it can while showing the "horrors" of the real world. Disturbing? Hardly, but for Troma, a gem.
