There's not a whole lot of terror in Mario Bava's trilogy, though certain images do stick with you (that dead woman in the opening story - those eyes! and the head pulled out of a bag in the final story). There is certainly better Italian horror to be found, but you do get Boris Karloff hosting and an interesting selection of short films.
