The first short in theLabyrinth of Darkness collection is a stop-motion piece about life, death and rebirth (aka, the seasons) as presented by pieces of wood with faces drawn on them. Gets interesting when a bird pecks at and eats one of them and turns into a spirit of death before undergoing a green "burning" at the stake. Strange yet interesting.
