The movie may be shot in black and white, but shows that characters certainly present themselves in shades of grey. it's a mystery and also a commentary on how we treat guilt and innocence and how it shapes lives. It builds slow, and I would say you have to be somewhat familiar with Haneke to enjoy it, but it's worth your time.
