Brian De Palma's remake of the French film Love Crime does follow the story pretty much note for note, but unlike the title suggests, the film is almost dispassionately cold - there just isn't that spark between Rachel McAdams and Noomi Rapace and even though there is plenty of tension, it just seems to drag on. I was hoping for better.
