If you're a fan of David Cronenberg, you'll notice the themes prevalent in his more well-known later film still here - a bit crude, but still has the director's signature touches. I love the fact it takes place in such a claustrophobic setting (an apartment complex) and that the parasite has no qualms about targeting - young, old, male, female - no one is safe. It may not be Cronenberg at his best - but it's still a creepy little tale with a twisted sexual angle.
