Before James Cameron gave us Titanic, A Night to Remember was the definitive cinematic version of the famous ship disaster. While this version takes a more historical approach, it is easy to see where Cameron got many of his ideas - and it features many well-known actors in smaller roles - a veritable "whose who" in British cinema at the time. A bit stoic in its depiction, but it holds up well even by today's standards.
