A mostly interesting look at the somewhat forgotten ABA (American Basketball Association) that disbanded in 1976 and gave us the Nets, Nuggets, Pacers and Spurs while the St. Louis Spirits were the odd men out. It's mostly about the Spirits themselves - the outrageous personalities, the sweetheart of a deal the owners made and a young color commentator by the name of Bob Costas. Entertaining for sure, but could have been deeper.
