Lazy characters but a pretty disturbing story. Plenty of gore to go around but not so much to be too over-the-top. I still have a feeling it will appeal strictly to horror fans even with the semi-recognizable cast. Plus, it has the distinction of being the last film Wes Craven worked on (as executive producer) so, if nothing else, it's a decent send-off for one of the true masters of horror.
