Nicolas Winding Refn - you either get him or don't. Stylistically, Neon Demon is superb - the lighting and color, cinematography - par excellence. The dialogue and pacing isn't as good - but stick with it, the ending is a killer. Elle Fanning and Jena Malone are standouts here, and look for Keanu Reeves in a small role as a sleazy motel operator. Though a bit slow, it's a great effort all around.
