I enjoyed this a lot more than I ever expected - much like another movie based on a popular toy (LEGO Movie) also surprised me. Don't be fooled by the overly sweet nature and music - the movie still has a dark edge to it, but not too much for the kids. It will still leave you smiling and is great for a pick-me-up on a bad day.
